Shpak Sets Provincial Record, Piatek smashes 4 club records at CASC Series

Over the past few weekends, the Killarney Swim Club turned up the waters at the Cascade WTF Swimming Series.  The CASC series was a set of 3 meets.  On Feb 14 and 15 CASC I, Feb 18 & 19 CASC II, and Feb 21 & 22 was CASC III.  The meets were long course open level competitions to prepare swimmers for the upcoming AB Championships.

Killarney swimmers posted 251 best times, 19 Medals, 1 Provincial Record, and 4 Club Records.

Sophia Shpak broke the 100m 11 year old Provincial Record with a time of 1:17. Alan Piatek smashed 4 club records (15-17 boys 50 back, 100 Back, 100 Fly and the Senior 100 Back).
