KSC Victorious at AB Summer Festival South

The Killarney Swim Club sent a contingent of 31 swimmers to the AB Summer Festivals South.  The event took place at the University of Lethbridge Max Bell Aquatic Center.

Killarney Swimmers had another fantastic showing.  The team set 167 personal best times on route to 37 medals.  The club earned 15 individual gold medals and 2 relay gold medals.  Assistant Coach Morgan Meldrum stated, “the girls pretty much won every event!”.

• Jiayi Li (50 FR, 100 IM) and Silver 50 BR, 50 BK, 50 Fly, 100 FR 9-9 Girls
• Ern Oz (50 Fly) and Bronze 50 FR 11-11 Boys
• Emily Piatek (100Fly, 50 Fly) and Silver 100 IM, Bronze 50 FR, 100 FR 10-10 Girls
• Lauren Rawnsley (50 BR, 50 BK, 50 FLY) and Silver 100 IM, Bronze 50 FR 9-9 Girls
• Sophia Shpak (50 FR, 50 BR, 100 IM, 100 BR) and Silver 50 FR, 100 FR, Bronze 50 Fly 10-10 Girls
• 10 & Under Free Relay Girls (Jiayi, Dorothy, Sophia, Emily)
• 10 & Under Medley Relay Girls (Dorothy, Sophia, Jiayi, Emily)
